Dying Light – not an impressive game

It must be said from the start that the characters and the story of this game seem dull. It may be the fact that I have seen so many zombie apocalypse movies and serials, or maybe just the producers haven’t done their best to make this game. However, the feeling and the theme of this title led me to think of World War Z rather than Walking Dead - get best details.

There are also many players who compare this game with Dead Island, fair idea indeed, although in this game the atmosphere is urban. We are an American hero in the Arab town Harran, where a zombie virus is at power isolating the community from the rest of the world. The protagonist of the adventure is Kyle Crane, which after passing through a very annoying tutorial on jumping on cranes, begins to explore the city, in a parkour way - explore the game.

His tasks include rescuing survivors, repair of energy sources or safe houses and gathering supplies and gadgets. You will travel doing parkour and you will walk more on roofs than on the street. I underline the word day, because at the night things get complicated a little bit and the dead ones go crazy. In addition, the visibility vanishes and is very difficult to target the enemies. You can use a flashlight and the map that you have on your disposal, but the zombies are more agile at night. Fortunately, you will be able to spend the nights in those safe houses.

I need to say that the graphic of this game looks fantastic and I carefully studied the rendering of flames and the way the wind blows among plants, both represented excellent. At this chapter this game is a rock star - play a top game. Weapons sustainability is very weak and the AI is obviously, not an impressive one. Unfortunately, the soundtrack and the voice of actors is another bad chapter of this game. You can see that the producers have not invest a second to even try to make a good job.

As you can see, in this review there are not so many good things said about this game and this because this game hasn’t too many good things besides the graphic. So, this is not a game that I would recommend.
